Part 4:
If your like me and grew up in the 90's, where dysfunctional tv shows and cartoons were disturbingly popular, then I'm sure you know of the Bundys. The show follows the lives of Al Bundy, a once-glorious high school football player who scored four touchdowns in a single game for Polk High School turned hard-luck salesman of women's shoes; his wife, Peggy, a tartish, uneducated housewife with a large red bouffant hairdo, 1960s clothes, and funny walk caused by wearing high heels; Kelly, Al and Peggy's pretty, promiscuous, dim-witted daughter; and Bud, their unpopular, girl-crazy, intelligent son (and the only Bundy who ever attended college). Enjoy!

Sun, Moon and Stars by Karl Lagerfeld
Sun, Moon and Stars was launched in 1994 for parfums Karl Lagerfeld, but is now discontinued. A floral-oriental, it has top notes of freesia, water lily and rose; heart notes of heliotrope, jasmine, orange blossom and narcissus; and base notes of sandalwood, amber and musk. It's a very heavy and inky smell. I personally, love it, but it's definitely not for everyone. Check it out if your in the market for a new fragrance.

Dacco
Dacco is a Japanese band formed by former Psycho le Cému members, Lida and YURAサマ (YURA-sama). Most of the band's songs consist of acoustic guitar (usually played by Lida) and tambourine (played by YURAサマ). Dacco always wears black (Lida) and white (YURAサマ) suits. The reason for wearing opposite coloured suits is to show contrast, and also Lida says he wouldn't look good wearing white. Which I totally agree with.
Enjoy the video clip! It's one of my favorite Japanese songs!

Studio Gear Compact Foundation
Review:
Upside: I purchased this a few days ago and I can't say I'm excited or impressed with this sleek, little compact. The compact case is quite nice and reminds me of Smashbox and Nars packaging. The mirror is my favorite part of this compact. They certainly didn't skimp out on placing a nicely proportioned mirror.
Downside: There's nothing really positive to say about the foundation itself. I got the lightest color Ulta carried, Porcelain and when I applied it, wet or dry, it didn't add any coverage. Actually, change that to NO coverage. I might as well not wear any then. Sadly, it just didn't do it for me. I ended up applying my Smashbox Halo over it for some much needed coverage.
Overall: Save your money and invest in a decent foundation, Kiddos.

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque
Recent purchase and review:
Upside: This just sucks..... the dirt and oil right out of my pores!!! Haha, I had you there for a moment. I put this mask on for 10-15 minutes, rinsed, and woke up the next morning with pore less skin. It helped to minimize pores, dry up pimples, calm and smooth skin as well. It really deep cleanses wonderfully. The minty smell is clean and refreshing.
Downside: It made my face break out a little, nothing severe. This usually happens when I use new face products. So no biggie. It does smell an offly lot like toothpaste. I swear, I thought I was smearing toothpaste all over my face. It also smelt a little sulfur-y, probably because it has sulfur in it. It's not bad and the smells fade.
Overall: Worth it! My face feels refreshed after using this mask. I notice a definite improvement in pore size and blackheads. And it's dirt cheap too ( around 3-4 dollars )!

Smashbox HALO Hydrating Perfecting Powder
What a mouthful! Here's my review:
Upside: This powder is great for any skin type, because it blends in well and goes on easy. The brush added color without adding a heavy coat to my skin. This kept my skin moisturized and hydrated. I use it every day for a great sheer coverage. It really made my skin look natural and oh so, soft. That's not all, the best part about this foundation is the built in shaver! No mess, no waste!
Downside: The horrible little brush it came it. I HATE the little brushes that come in Smashbox Sets!!! They are so crappy! No wonder they give them out for free. I always throw them away, because it's such bad quality.
Overall: Totally worth it! I'm tossing my BE/BM and replacing it with this ( I actually already have )! Give it go and I'm sure anyone will do the same.

Jane Nearly Foundation
I just bought this Jane tinted moisturizer a few days ago. The color I picked up is Fair, it's the lightest shade available. I just used it today and here's my review:
Upside: There's no smell and it left my skin feeling soft. It has a nice and creamy texture. It's a little thick, which is nice, because other tinted moisturizers have a more watery and runny consistency.
Downside: I had to blend it in really well and even then, it didn't seem to match my skin. It left my skin with a fake tan-like complex. It looked so un-natural.
Overall: For $4.99+tax, it isn't such a bad deal, I just wish it had a more watery consistency and came in a lighter shade.

Red Haute Jewerly, In Honor of my Favorite Late Boutique.
Two of the three rings ( the first two pictures) pictured here were recently purchased before my favorite little boutique near by my office, closed it's doors forever. Sadly, the owner, who I know personally, decided to close her store on Saturday. Before she did, as I always visited her store on Saturday, dropped by and she told me the news. She also told me that she would give me 75% off everything and anything in the store. I was so shocked and overwhelmed that I didn't know what to say or do.
I bought a lot of earrings and bracelets for my Boss, as I love her and she was kind enough to let me go back ( more like demanded ) later on in the day to purchase more items ( for her ). I ended up buying a jacket in her store that I've had my eyes on and also a beautiful scarf. Now the jewelry I ended up purchasing, the owner gave me 85% off on and it's real. Real sterling silver and real stones. I'm so fortunate to have gotten such a great deal, but I'm also so saddened that she had to close her store. Luckily, I gave her my number in case, she has anymore jewelry to sell once she hauls everything to her place.
This is most of my jewelry, with the exception of my rings and Indian jewelry ( I'll be posting those later ). I buy my jewelry from a little boutique near my office. I tend to go for more unique and different pieces. Just to name a few designers and companies that I love, Ayala Bar, David Aubrey, Peyote Bird, Yoni Z and B-JWLD ( Bejeweled ). Check back later for other jewelry collections!
